Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 1:14-15
This declaration had world-changing power. It not only spoke to the individual life of a believer being changed and empowered, it spoke to nations and culture being altered as well. It was a statement that God would through His disciples, impact and change life on the planet. People and cultures would be reshaped and fashioned to look more like heaven than like hell!
This required apostles being raised and set into place by the Lord. Jesus spent His 3 1/2 years of ministry raising and empowering apostles. The only recognized gift in the upper room was apostles. This was on purpose. God intended for His church, the ecclesia, the government of God in the earth to be apostolic in nature. The other four ministry gifts of prophet, teacher, evangelist and pastor, came OUT of the apostles Jesus had set first. This was because God’s church was meant to be the vehicle the Lord used to expand the rule of the kingdom of God through out the world. This is still His passion.
This however cannot occur, without apostles being recognized, empowered and commissioned. Apostles are the mandate of the Lord. The nature of apostles is to extend, expand and increase God’s rule in the world. This however cannot happen without training and equipping. This is the purpose of The Apostle's Institute. Our ambition is to equip existing and emerging apostles in their God-ordained call.
The course will have two semesters. They will be taught on Tuesday and Thursday night at 6:00pm Mountain Time.
